The PVC/PU Belt Conveyor uses a continuous conveyor belt made of PVC (polyvinyl chloride) or PU (polyurethane) as both the carrying and traction medium. The belt runs over drive and tail pulleys, forming an endless loop, with support rollers underneath to reduce sag. The drive pulley transmits power through friction between the pulley and the belt surface .
